Scholarship Day - Feb. 21, 2025

You will participate in a personal interview and have the opportunity to tour campus, meet with coaches, performing arts directors, staff, and faculty. Your parent(s)/guardian(s) are welcome to attend with you.

The Randall Scholarship is the highest academic scholarship at Dakota Wesleyan University.

• Students must have a minimum 3.7 GPA to compete.
• A limited number of Randall Scholars will be named each year.
• Randall Scholars may receive a total scholarship award of $25,000 per year.

The Presidential Leadership Scholarship is a top academic scholarship at Dakota Wesleyan University.

• Students must have a minimum 3.25 GPA to compete.
• A limited number of Presidential Leadership Scholars will be named each year.
• Presidential Leadership Scholars may receive a total scholarship award of $21,000 per year.

To Compete:

• Step 1: Apply to Dakota Wesleyan University.
• Step 2: Submit your high school transcripts.
• Step 3: Register for Scholarship Day.
• Step 4: Submit a service and leadership resume (sample) along with one letter of recommendation (detailed instructions).

Schedule:

8:15 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. - Registration

8:30 a.m. - 9 a.m. - Welcome Session

9 a.m. – 11 a.m. - Individual Interviews and StrengthsFinder session

11 a.m. - Noon - Academic Activity

Noon – 1:15 p.m. - Scholars’ Luncheon and Awards Presentation

1:15 p.m. - Optional campus tours, individual meetings with DWU professors, athletic coaches, financial aid staff, music and theatre directors.
