Be more than you are

Be more than you are. You might be an athlete, but you’re also a student. You might have a 4.0, but you also love music. You might have a deep faith, but you also like to have fun. We want to help you discover who you are as a whole person, not just the little pieces of your identity.

High School Students

Want to get a head start on your college education? Dakota Wesleyan University offers classes for current high school seniors who have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better.

To register for a class, you’ll need to complete the registration form.

Make sure to have a school official and a parent sign it. You’ll also need to give us a copy of your current high school transcript.

As an official dual-enrolled DWU student, you will receive a student ID and username, a campus email address, access to TigerNet, library resources, IT support and more.

As you prepare your college search, keep in mind that every college and university evaluates classes for credit differently. Ultimately, it is up to the receiving college or university to decide whether or not your credits from DWU will be accepted.

As an added bonus, taking dual credits at DWU will qualify you for our Dual Credit Scholarship when you enroll as a full-time DWU student. You could earn up to $1,500!

Nondegree-Seeking Students

Dakota Wesleyan University is pleased to offer nondegree credit for workshop and seminar courses throughout the year.

Courses are intended for certification, renewal or endorsements. Each course has a fee, and you’ll be expected to sign up before or on the day of the workshop or seminar if you want to attend and receive credit. Simply register using our Nondegree Credit Registration Form and you’ll be on your way.
