RAPID CITY – Dakota Wesleyan University, along with partners Monument Health and Elevate Rapid City, will celebrate the establishment of its A.S. nursing program based in Rapid City. The ribbon cutting will be held at the program’s location in Monument Health’s “Turbine Building,” located at 1400 Turbine Drive on Tuesday, Nov. 19. The event begins at 11 a.m.

Students enrolled in the nursing program will receive an Associate of Science degree in nursing. A high school diploma is all that is required to apply for admission. Those attending the ribbon cutting will be able to meet DWU representatives and students and hear from faculty and supporters about the program’s progress. Light refreshments will be served.
