Business Department Administrative Assistant

Dakota Wesleyan University is seeking an administrative assistant for the Musick Family School of Business. This position is a 9-month part-time position (20 hours/week) with some additional duties in the summer. Responsibilities include a wide variety of office support tasks and event management support. Strong computer skills are required including all Microsoft products.

The successful applicant will maintain a high level of attention to detail with excellent interpersonal, organizational, writing, proofing, and communication skills. The candidate must have the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse population. Confidentiality regarding student records is imperative. The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of university and community events regularly hosted in the School of Business Innovation and Leadership (SBIL) as well as other areas of DWU campuses.

Strong preference for college degree or vocational training, with an associate’s degree required; two years of clerical work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong commitment to the philosophy and the goals of Dakota Wesleyan University.
