LyricWood concert scheduled for March 23

LyricWood Orchestra will perform in concert on Sunday, March 23, at 4 p.m.

MITCHELL – The Ron and Sheilah Gates Department of Music at Dakota Wesleyan University will present LyricWood Orchestra in concert on Sunday, March 23, at 4 p.m. in the Sherman Center. Admission is free. The event will also be live streamed at dwu.edu/live.

This year’s concert is entitled “a string showcase.”

Upcoming events include the Ron and Sheilah Gates Department of Theatre’s production of “Footloose” March 27-29 and April 3-5 at the Mitchell High School Performing Arts Center.

The annual Spring Concert is scheduled for Sunday, May 4, at 4 p.m. in the Sherman Center.

Also on that date will be the second annual DWU Performing Arts Hall of Fame and Awards banquet. The event will be held in the School of Business, Innovation and Leadership at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $20. Contact Corbin Kramer at 605-995-2658 or email corbin.kramer@dwu.edu for more information.
