Accelerate Your Path To
Deacon or Elder
Bachelor of Arts + Master of Arts in Christian Ministries
- Earn at least 24 credits from your Course of Study (COS), Certificate in Service & Leadership (CSL), or Certificate in Theology and Ministry (CTM) programs.
- Take a minimum of 30 credits from DWU's online offerings.
- Receive up to 36 credits for professional experience.
- Add an additional 30 credits from United's MACM program.

The following programs may be available to you.
Local Foundations
Check with your local denominational Foundation office. Your conference, synod, presbetary and local church may also have scholarship money available.
General Board of Higher Education and Ministry (United Methodist Only)
Applications open December 15th and will close March 24th.

Dollars for Scholars Program
Dollars for Scholars is a unique source of funding with its own application process. Applications close in March annually. You may be eligible for both a general scholarship and a Dollars for Scholars award.
