Thank you for your interest in hiring Dakota Wesleyan students and graduates! Our academic programs are designed to support critical and collaborative thinking in addition to technical skill. Each of our students is trained in effective communication, global awareness and strategic creativity. Additionally, we focus on developing individual strengths and talents to ensure professional, successful graduates.
The Center for Talent Development is here to assist you in finding the right employee for your organization. We offer the following services to employers:
As an employer, you have access to several events throughout the year to meet Dakota Wesleyan students and graduates and promote opportunities within your organization. Click here
for a list of events and details for each.
DWU’s internship program is designed to allow students a great deal of flexibility in selecting and arranging their internship experiences. Students may choose to receive academic credit for their internships as part of their studies, or they may use their internship experience as an opportunity for personal learning goals and career exploration.
Employers may want an intern to work on special projects, perform specific assignments, or rotate through several areas of the organization. Internship experiences are found in a variety of settings – for profit, nonprofit and government.
If your organization already has an internship program, consider selecting DWU students as interns. If you are just beginning an internship program, we would be happy to work with you in structuring your internship program. Please post available internships on our TigerLINK system, or contact the office of internships
for more information.
On-campus visits are held in the Rollins Campus Center near the student lounge, mailboxes and cafeteria. The best times for a campus visit are Tuesday - Thursday 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. due to the heavy flow of student traffic.
Typically, an 8-foot table and two chairs with access to electricity are provided, and interview areas are available upon request. Additional accommodations (i.e., wireless Internet access, food or beverages) can be arranged; please contact the Center for Talent Development for more information.
On-campus visits must be scheduled a minimum of one week in advance, and the Center for Talent Development will be happy to promote your organization’s visit if given at least two weeks advance notice. Promotions may include:
Online Job Listing
- Inclusion in our bi-weekly newsletter, the Tiger Trib
- Flyers and/or posters, if provided
- Special notice given to department faculty (departments of employer’s choosing)
- Announcement at on-campus gatherings
To make job listing as convenient and streamlined as possible, Dakota Wesleyan now offers TigerLINK as your connection to students and graduates. Within TigerLINK, you can quickly and easily post and edit part-time and full-time jobs and internships, choose to receive online applications directly from the system, and target students from specific majors or levels of experience.
To list a position, please sign in
to TigerLINK or create an account
to do so. (A helpful guide to getting started can be found here.) Please feel free to list any available positions – full-time, part-time, internship, any location – on this site, as we no longer host a physical job board.
TigerLINK is a collaborative project between the Center for Talent Development and the Kelley Center for Entrepreneurship
, providing maximum flexibility and convenience for employers and internship supervisors. This system is also a branch of the SDACCC Consortium
Brochures, business cards and/or other literature promoting your organization can be placed with the Center for Talent Development for inclusion in our resource library. Please note that these items will not be returned.
To advertise your organization with the Phreno Cosmian, our student newspaper, please contact
