Curriculum and Course List
The M.B.A. – Strategic Leadership is comprised of 36 semester hours, organized in12 three-hour courses with specific emphasis in each hour applied to a particular discipline.

Courses will be taught entirely online. Most courses are taught by full-time DWU business faculty with doctoral degrees and years of experience working in their principal teaching areas.

Two prerequisite courses are required for those whose undergraduate degree is not in a business discipline. Students needing to complete prerequisite courses will be provisionally accepted. Students accepted provisionally must achieve a 3.0 GPA after completion of four courses in the program.

Foundational Course Understanding
To ensure your success, each student is expected to enter the program with an understanding in foundational course content. Students who have earned an undergraduate degree should have microeconomics, statistics, principles of financial accounting and principles of managerial accounting with a grade of C- or better. For students who have some but not all of the foundational courses, and for students who do not have an undergraduate degree in business, DWU offers the following courses throughout the year to assist students in preparing for the M.B.A. program. The courses are offered online and in eight week blocks.
