Laptop Requirement for LPN-RN program
(Comprehensive Assessment and Review Program)
Students are required to bring a laptop computer to class to complete an Internet-based nationally standardized assessment in each nursing content area (i.e.- medical-surgical nursing). These tools can help students prepare more efficiently, as well as increase confidence and familiarity with nursing concepts.

Each student will receive review modules for each major nursing content area. Based on the NCLEX-RN blueprint, each assessment identifies specific areas of content weakness for further study. Items contain rationale for all response options to further strengthen the student’s understanding of the content. The final stage of the program provides three stages of preparation for computer adaptive testing (CAT) used by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing licensure examination for registered nurses.
