DWU traveled to Peru in May of 2003-2005 and 2009 building a relationship with the people of Chincha, Peru, while constructing a day school to provide education, daycare, meals, and religious instruction to children who live in Third-World poverty. The trip is an opportunity to share the good news of Christ in word and deed with the people of South America.

May 2007, May 2008. DWU is continuing a relationship with the people of Arusha and Minjingu, Tanzania. The second team of staff, alumni and students visited East Africa meeting the people, working at an orphanage digging a new latrine, finishing one preschool in Minjingu and starting a second preschool for the people of Mdori.
