Related Fields and Graduate Study
Graduate study is not a requirement for entry into the field of sports management, however, access to and progress within specialized athletic careers is generally enhanced by the pursuit and completion of graduate level academic and/or internship experiences. Some students pursue graduate degrees in complimentary areas such as public administration, recreation management, MBA-sports management and the law.
