Dakota Wesleyan University is a private liberal arts university that encourages students, faculty and staff to tap into their personal strengths while thriving in a close-knit campus community that offers resources and direction to transform those strengths into individual and professional success. DWU faculty and staff are known for their willingness to work with students individually to nurture their personal and academic growth.

There are about 850 students at DWU from all over the country and around the world. Wesleyan is a family-oriented campus with an emphasis on learning, leadership, faith and service. The university employs 150 staff and faculty members, and 80 percent of the faculty hold the highest degrees in their fields.

Proudly affiliated with the Dakotas Conference of the United Methodist Church, Dakota Wesleyan University welcomes members of any and all faiths as students and employees.

In 2014, DWU was named “Great College to Work For” by the Chronicle of Higher Education.
